The Toyota Corolla Altis has a 1.4 D-4D capable of 88.4 BHP and 205 Nm between 1800 to 2800 rpm. The mileage numbers are 19.5 for the Elantra and 21.43 for the Altis. Both have 6 speed manual transmission with the Elantra also sporting an automatic box.
Both cars are spacious within and have a boot space of 420 litres for the Hyundai and 470 for the Toyota. The Korean has a more futuristic exterior while the Japanese has a more subdued one. Inside the cabin, both have most of the modern features and comforts present in models in this category.
